Chris M. Ervin
Chris M. Ervin is a graduate of South Texas College of Law.
For more than a decade, Chris has been advising Texans in the areas of
family law, probate, criminal law, civil litigation and real estate.
Chris has represented clients in various family law matters, including
contested and uncontested divorce, child support, child support modifications,
child support enforcements, child custody and adoptions. He has conducted
numerous criminal bench and jury trials to verdict, including all degree
of misdemeanor and felonies, facilitated countless real estate transactions,
conducted judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, landlord and post-foreclosure
eviction proceedings, trespass to try title suits, filed claims on behalf
of creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, probated estates ranging from
very simple to highly complex, and issued title opinions. Chris has represented
both Plaintiffs and Defendants in civil litigation, including breach of
contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and creditor/debtor suits.
Chris is a native Houstonian, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance
from the University of Houston in 2000. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence
from South Texas College of Law in 2003. Chris is married and has two
children, Marshall and Sophie.
