Erica is a native Houstonian who has been in the legal field since the year 2000. She has knowledge base that was procured working on the inside of the court systems. She began her legal career as a court clerk in the Harris County District Clerk’s Office, in the family courts. These chapters of her court clerk career gave her knowledge related to real-world family law matters. The foundational experience and achievements gained in the courts created many opportunities for her, and she was soon offered a legal assistant position for a family law attorney where she became his lead paralegal. Since then she has worked as a paralegal to reputable family law firms and has learned how to work cases from beginning to end. Erica empathizes with clients she works with and makes it her duty to try and create an environment with as little stress as possible. She continues to learn new procedures and loves when there are new obstacles and challenges to overcome.
