Anne Gibson is an experienced attorney with more than 26 years of legal practice. Her background includes family law, criminal defense, mediation, courtroom advocacy, and meticulous legal-document preparation. She combines extensive real-world experience with a strong academic background to provide clients with thoughtful, compassionate, and thorough representation. Before joining the Law Office of Bryan Fagan, PLLC, Anne served clients at The Werner Law Group, where she worked in the firm’s family law and criminal defense departments. Throughout her career, she has handled a wide variety of cases involving judges, prosecutors, opposing counsel, and clients facing difficult or unfamiliar circumstances.

Education & Career

Anne earned her Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law. She also holds a Master of Science in Education in Learning Theory and Instruction from Arkansas State University. An avid learner, Anne continues to expand her legal knowledge and skills. She is pursuing an LL.M. in Dispute Resolution from the University of Missouri School of Law, further strengthening her ability to help clients explore productive solutions to complex legal disputes.
Anne’s background in education and instruction plays an important role in her legal practice. She understands that uncertainty can cause clients’ thoughts to race, particularly when they do not know what to expect. Anne helps ease those concerns by explaining the possible outcomes of a case and the different paths that may lead to a resolution.

After more than two decades in practice, she has seen countless legal scenarios unfold. Even so, she remains ready for the challenge when a case involves a new law, an unusual circumstance, or an unexpected development. She believes that a client’s emotional well-being can play an important role in the success of a
case. For that reason, Anne prioritizes accessibility and consistent communication. She works to ensure clients feel informed, heard, and supported throughout the legal process. Personal

When Anne is not behind a computer or in the courtroom, she prefers to spend time outdoors—ideally somewhere without cell phone service. She is an avid fly fisher, kayaker, and photographer. Anne and her husband also raise Texas Longhorn cattle and enjoy turning down unfamiliar dirt roads simply to see where they lead. They are also working on what Anne jokingly calls a “sled team” of Chihuahuas—because, as she says, nobody can have just one Chihuahua.
