Kary Gregg

Attorney

Kary is a native Texan growing up in the West Texas where the tumbleweeds roll, and the cotton grows but has lived in Houston for more than 20 years. Kary received her undergraduate degree in English and for the first three years after college she taught in Austin and Fort Worth, Texas as a high school English teacher. It was there that she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an attorney. Kary packed up and moved to Houston to attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law. During Kary’s last year of law school, she interned with the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting criminals and obtaining her experience and love as a litigator. From there, Kary moved on to work as an Assistant City Attorney for previous Mayor Bill White. It was there that Kary’s passion for helping the citizens of Houston was forged. She gained extensive knowledge of what it truly means to advocate for individuals while aggressively protecting the safety and welfare of all Houstonians. Helping families became Kary’s top priority with a strength in complex family law cases involving child custody disputes and complex property matters. She zealously works with families in order reach settlements in custody cases, if possible, but uses her background as a litigator to aggressively fight in court for her client’s rights. When Kary’s not at the office, she enjoys trivia and spending time with her dogs.
