Meahgan Dickerson

Family Law Attorney | Law Office of Bryan Fagan, PLLC – River Oaks

Meahgan Dickerson is an accomplished family law attorney at the Law Office of Bryan Fagan, PLLC. With nearly two decades of legal experience, Meahgan brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and compassion to her clients and colleagues. Before joining the firm, she owned and operated Dickerson Law Firm from 2008 to 2025, where she built a strong reputation for zealous advocacy and personalized representation in family law matters.

In addition to her private practice, Meahgan has served as a Hearing Adjudication Officer for the City of Houston since 2017, further demonstrating her commitment to public service and justice. Her professional background also includes a legal internship with Pfizer, Inc. in New York City, where she gained invaluable insight into corporate legal processes and high-level decision-making.

Meahgan’s practice focuses on all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, and parental rights. Her philosophy centers on equality, inclusion, and empathy—ensuring that every client feels heard, respected, and empowered throughout their case.

Outside of her legal career, Meahgan is deeply passionate about uplifting women and promoting body positivity. She serves as the Executive Director and CEO of the National Miss Plus America Pageant system, where she advocates for the empowerment and representation of women of all shapes and sizes.

When she’s not in the courtroom, Meahgan enjoys playing volleyball and poker, spending time with her beloved dog King Franscois V (“Frankie” or “Monster”), and making music—she plays six different instruments and humorously refers to herself as the founder of a “toy band.”

Her friends describe her as tenacious, assertive, and unapologetically authentic, qualities that define her both personally and professionally.
